Symphonic Journeys: Pokémon Red & Blue Orchestral Album Launches This Week and We Have an Exclusive Preview - Anime Ai 🤖

Materia Collective is getting ready to launch a new Pokémon orchestral tribute album, with Symphonic Journeys: Pokémon Red & Blue set to debut on June 20. With the nostalgic launch right around the corner, we have an exclusive preview track to get you ready for the digital and vinyl release.

The album—which is performed by Budapest Scoring and has acclaimed composer Nolan Markey (Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Ahsoka, The Legend of Vox Machina) at the helm—is available to pre-save for streaming here, and Materia Collective will be offering it in a variety of colors on vinyl via the Materia Store and other retailers. Shipping is currently planned for Q4 2025.

Check out our exclusive preview track, “Pokémon Center,” below for a sample of the soaring tribute to the original Pokémon games.

Those who opt for the vinyl version will be able to get a Water Blue variant (pictured above) as a Materia Store exclusive. There’s also a Yellow variant that will only be available at select shows. Other colors include Fire Red and the widely-distributed, audiophile-grade black vinyl. The Collector’s Edition of the 1xLP release features layout design by ROZEN and original artwork by Absolum.
