9-nine- Ruler’s Crown Anime Shares First Promotional Trailer - Anime Ai 🤖

The game 9-nine- is getting an anime adaptation titled 9-nine- Ruler’s Crown and its first promotional video just dropped. Along with giving us almost two minutes of footage, it announces that we can expect this series to debut in July. On top of that, we get to hear the ending theme song “Pale Blaze” being performed by Chihiro Yonekura,

Yonekura was involved with the video game as well. Likewise, the anime is making sure to get the same voice actors who worked on the game. That means that Misato Fukuen plays Miyako Kujo, Atsumi Tanezaki plays Sora Niimi, Yuri Yamaoka plays Haruma Kōsaka, Akane Fujita plays Noa Yūki, Satomi Arai plays Sophitia, Atsushi Abe plays Kakeru Niimi, Kazutomi Yamamoto plays Yoichi Fukazawa, Tomokazu Sugita plays Renya Takamine, and Hana Takeda plays Satsuki Naruse.

9-nine- Ruler’s Crown is being made at PRA with Koichi Ohata of Burst Angel and Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny helming the project as director. Credit for character design goes to Saori Sakiguchi of number24 and Technoroid Overmind.

A lucky few will get to see an advanced screening on July 15 at the Parthenon Tama in Tokyo. Members of the cast will be present for the screening.

The game 9-nine- was released on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. There’s also supposed to be a 9-nine- spinoff adventure game coming out this winter.

9-nine- is a tale of the town of Shiromitsugawa, host to mysterious Artifacts and the superpowers they bestow on their Users. A tale of growing trust and budding romance between the protagonist and the heroine, and also a murder mystery where they hunt down the culprit behind a series of supernatural murders.
