BADGIRL Character Trailer Spotlights Yu Yutani and Suzu Suzukaze - Anime Ai 🤖

Following up on a recent main trailer, a new character trailer has arrived for the BADGIRL anime. This one pulls double duty by putting the spotlight on lead character Yu Yutani (VA: Azusa Tachibana) and best friend Suzu Suzukaze (Misato Matsuoka).

Check it out—including a sample of character voice unit Tenrogun’s “Tsuppari High School Rock ’n Roll Toukouhen” song—ahead of the anime’s July debut below.

The BADGIRL anime has Jōji Furuta (Double Decker!) on board as director, with Shoji Yoneura (Glass Fleet) on series composition, Yuki Morimoto (Boarding School Juliet) on character designs and Arisa Okehazama (Jujutsu Kaisen) on music.

Cast includes:

• Azusa Tachibana as Yu Yutani
• Niina Hanamiya as Atori Mizutori
• Misato Matsuoka as Suzuka Suzukaze
• Miharu Hanai as Rura Ruriha
• Kaori Maeda as Mizuka Mizutori
• Lynn as Kiyoraka Sumiki

The original BADGIRL manga follows high school girl Yu, who tries to become a delinquent to get the attention of the chairman of the disciplinary committee. The series started as a guest spot in the pages of Manga Time Kirara Carat from February to April 2021 before becoming a full serialization in the May 2021 issue.
